1. How do you remove the bottom panel of a MacBook?
Pull firmly to slide the lower case towards the front edge of the MacBook (away from the hinge area) to separate the last of the clips securing the lower case. Pull first at one corner, then the other. Pull to the side,not up. This may require a lot of force and it may seem as though you are pulling apart two pieces that are fused together, but you're not. The previously mentioned releases will have allowed you to separate the upper case from the lower case enough to get a grip on it. Switch hands holding your screwdriver, and with your other hand, pull firmly away from the video port on the left side of the MacBook Pro towards the front edge of the computer. Repeat this action with each corner until you can separate it. Your hand will be deep in there so try not to drop your screwdriver or jab yourself full-force with it. If you are not comfortable performing this repairby yourself, please let the professionals do it.
2.How can I open my MacBook Pro without a screwdriver?
You can shape a piece of plastic like ShapeLock to form the tip of your own screwdriver, but it probably won't have enough force to unscrew or screw them successfully. You could attach a smaller hex wrench with super glue to the screw, then use nail polish remover to remove it.
3. What is the best way to remove a Mac screw?
Another method that is unconventional would be to try placing a wide rubber band around the screw to make it easier to grip with a slightly bigger screwdriver. You could also try using a piece of cloth or a textile that can provide more grip and twist its shape a bit.
4. How do you get rid of a stripped Pentalobe screw?
The stripped screw is a screw with a head that has become so damaged and bored out that the bit on your screwdriver/drill can no longer grab it well enough to turn it.
5.How do you repair a stripped screw on a computer?
A rubber band can fill the stripped gaps and provide grip for a screwdriver. Cut a rubber band with scissors, then lay it flat on the screw head. Use the screwdriver to press into the screw, then use pressure and turn it to get a grip, thus turning the screw.
